(Formerly Lafayette Landing
Marina)
This beautiful, state-of-the-art
marina facility of 424 boat slips is in the very heart of the waterfront,
adjacent to the shops, galleries and restaurants of the exciting new Landry's
Restaurant's Kemah Boardwalk Entertainment Complex.

- Location - it is the closest marina to Galveston Bay and is next
door to Kemah Boardwalk
- Deepwater Berths - your boat is never on bottom or stuck in the
slip. You can sail year round no matter the tide level
- All Floating Docks - your boat is always at the same relative
level. No adjusting dock lines. Easier to board and disembark
- Wide Finger Piers - safer and easier to maneuver
- Dock Box at every slip
- 15% VIP Discount Card to all Kemah Boardwalk restaurants with
"head of line" privileges
- It won the Marina of the Year Award, presented by the Marina Association of Texas in 1995, the last year any area marina was so honored.
- It is home to several yacht brokerages
and the largest charter fleet in Texas, offering dinner cruises, sight seeing
excursions, crewed and bare-boat charters, as well as sailing lessons.
- The construction of the marina in the
late 80's is often credited with the rebirth of Kemah, Texas.

-
We cannot guarantee security! We do our best, however, to provide a safe harbor
and environment for you and your vessel.
-
We have a perimeter fence, a controlled
access gate and strategically placed video cameras about the marina as
well as a night patrol. We have stadium lights that are on until 10:00PM
that light up the parking light and docks. Then we have smaller security
lights that just light up the parking lot.
-
Our Liveaboards are probably one of
the greatest security devices you can have in a marina because they are
usually familiar with their neighbors and boats.
-
We encourage all our tenants to record
descriptions and ID numbers off of boats entering the marina.
-
We do what we can reasonably do to
deter problems and provide a safe environment.
-
We also furnish free boat slips for
any law enforcement agency vessels.
-
We have a pro-active written Hurricane
Preparedness Plan which we submit to the local Emergency Management Agencies
each year. We attend both the Harris County Hurricane Preparation Workshop
and the Boaters Hurricane Workshop annually.
-
We strongly encourage and educate our
tenants to prepare their boats and we advise them if we see a problem.
Our docks and perimeter fence were designed to withstand heavy winds and
to keep debris from floating into the marina in case of storm surge.
